by the Tan and Pacheco families. At the helm were Mr. Benito Tan and the late Mr. Nerio Tan and their partners the late Mr. Francisco Pacheco Sr. and the late Ms. Carmen M. Pacheco.
Both families offered their strengths in business which created the synergy that resonates in the company to this day. The Pacheco family took charge of purchasing and production and the Tan family handled finance and marketing.

One sustainability effort SRDC is currently engaged in is waste water treatment. As of now, we use a multi-level filtration system to treat water used to wash the rubber. The system in place cleans the water used to wash the rubber and recycles it for several more uses. Once it has reached a certain number of cycles, the waste water is finally filtered and cleansed for release.
At the bottom part of the filtration system you can see fish swimming happily as proof of how clean the treated water is. It may not be potable for drinking yet, but our future plan is to make this into reality.
Years of dedication and hard work by SRDC’s management and employees have been recognized several times by the Philippine’s Bureau of Customs. Such recognition is proof that achievements are born from diligence and team work.

One negative impact of rubber production is the fume emitted during production. The odor released in the processing of rubber can reach up to 3 kilometers in radius. To prevent this, SRDC is working with companies that produce air treatment and filtration systems that will lessen the odor emission by about 60-70%.
SRDC is committed to do our share in taking care of the environment. In the pipeline to sustainability is an effort to operate 100% Off-grid electrical power in our factory. This will be done in stages, gradually building a Solar Power system that will cater to the daily needs of the plant. Doing so, will afford us to slowly but surely build the solar power system, while maintaining our production line’s needed output for the market’s increasing demand
Since 1983, SRDC has exported rubber products to our Asian neighbors. As time passed we have extended our reach to Europe starting with Germany and hopefully to other European countries in the near future.
